All Maytag washers can use Washer Fan Breeze G5M.
Maytag front-load washers sold in the US and Canada and manufactured since early 2006 should have a compatible vent on the back, like the vents pictured below. Maytag front-load washers manufactured before 2006 do not have a compatible vent on the back, but can use our two other installation options.
If your full-size, front-load Maytag washer has a compatible vent on the back, like any of the six vents pictured below, Washer Fan Breeze G5M can be installed magnetically over the compatible vent on the back of your washer, after you remove the bottom blue cover.
If your full-size, front-load Maytag washer does not have a compatible vent on the back, like any of the six vents pictured below, Washer Fan Breeze G5M easily installs using its built-in magnets in the washer’s door opening.
If you don’t have access to the back of your washer for installation and to clean the Breeze G5M and its air filter every six months or sooner, you can secure Washer Fan Breeze G5M in the washer’s door opening using its built-in magnets.
NOTE: Some Maytag washers, usually under the Neptune name, have slots on the back of the washer (usually near the bottom of the washer) that may look like a compatible vent, but do not have access to the drum; therefore, attaching the Breeze G5M over these slots will NOT be effective. If you have a Maytag Neptune or your Maytag washer has slots on the bottom of the washer (not a compatible vent), you can install Washer Fan Breeze G5M using its built-in magnets in the washer’s door opening.
NOTE: The G5M does not have a bottom blue cover that needs to be removed prior to installation as shown in our videos.
