Yes it works! I was so disappointed in my new washer. It was so pretty but the smell was awful. I tried vinegar, bleach, nothing worked. Found this product when I was searching for a fix. Thanks. I was skeptical at the price of the fan but very glad I spent it now. I was about to buy a new washer or craigslist. Your business should thrive. It meets a desperate need that was very hard to deal with. It was so easy to install that even I could do it easily. Don’t wait till the mold grows just get it now. The smell was gone in 2 days. Again thank you.

This washer fan works! I have zero odor in my front loading washer in less than a week after installing my washer fan. A lot less expensive than replacing your washer! This product is worth every cent!

i just want to say that the washer fan concept is brilliant. All washing machines should have these installed from factory -(in hopes that these guys who designed this get the credit). I purchased this machine used, as the original owners did not want it anymore from a musty, mildew smell in their clothing. After searching online and seeing many complaints of these washers, the only option was replace the bottom drum, hoses and clean the crap out of it- or install a Washer Fan. I bought the Washer Fan and installed in 1 minute. The next day the laundry room smell of mildew was almost gone & after 20 hours the washer odor was gone. Must have and well worth the investment.

A REAL SOLUTION!
About a year after taking delivery of a new Whirlpool Duet front-loading washer, we began to notice a mildew-like odor coming from the tub area. We had always kept the door open and the dispenser tray out between uses but the odor was there and getting stronger. The manufacturer was of no help but we found many people on the web who had the same problem. Several suggested switching from liquid to powder detergent (the liquid supposedly contained fats that supported mildew growth), cleaning the filter assembly and running an empty cycle with lots of bleach poured directly into the tub. These steps did cause the odor to disappear … for a while. When the smell returned, we again cleaned the filter and ran a bleach-only load but the odor did not completely disappear and gradually got stronger.
Looked for additional solutions on the web and ran across the Washer Fan. Seemed like it might just be a fairly expensive gimmick but ordered one anyway since we were out of solutions. It arrived quickly and we installed it without any additional cleaning or bleaching. In three days, the odor was GONE and has not come back! This product actually works and lives up to its manufacturer’s claims. Very satisfied.

While waiting for the fan to arrive in the mail, we pulled the machine apart, cleaned the hose and pulled the front panel off of the bottom and cleaned out the filter there. Within days of putting the fan on the back of the washer the odor was gone – wow, what a difference. It makes me wonder why the manufacturers of these front loaders didn’t have the insight to bulld something like that into each unit. Fortunately this product is available, is super quiet and I would recommend it to anyone.

I waited a month to submit a review. I bought a home that had a front load washer and it reeked if mold. Obviously there was a reason she left it. I did everything the Internet said…clean it, used soft scrub, used tide washer cleaner, wiped the rubber thingy several times, etc. nothing really worked long term. I found washerfan.com. My husband was severely skeptical and said I shouldn’t buy it because is was so pricey. I bought it anyway. No…it did not work in 2 days. Yes…it was better but I was a bit deflated it did not work right away. One week…better but still moldy. 2 weeks same. 3 weeks pretty darn good! This last week? I smell no mold at all! No I did not clean out the hoses and take apart the washer so that could be why it took so long. So happy! This product worked for me. I am recommending it to all my family and friends! Thank you!

I received my Washer Fan this week and installed it in a flash. It took all but 60 seconds.
Because the vent outlet of my LG washer is at the top of the rear panel, all I had to do
was reach behind it and set it in place. The powerful magnets did all the work to fasten
the fan and hold it in place. In a snap the Washer Fan was ready to start sending fresh
air into my washer.
The smell of the rubber gasket is practically null with the Washer Fan. Although my front
load washer is only 10 months old, the gasket has always had a bit of an odor, even
before I used the machine. I suspect it was from the manufacturing process, but it is an
unpleasant pungent smell. Not any more with the Washer Fan.
The fan is very quiet and I cannot hear it. My washer is in a tight laundry closet behind a
louver door in the kitchen and the only way I know the fan is working is to touch it.
My hats off to the inventor; such a simple idea for such a useful, practical and brilliant
solution to remove washer tub odors from stagnant moisture, mold or stinky rubber
gasket door seals. It is a must have for anyone that has a front loading washing machine.
As an architect, my only regret is that I had not thought of this product first!
I love my front-loading washing machine even more now that I have the Washer Fan.

Despite multiple tub clean cycles, we could never get rid of the smell in our washer. Our clothes smelled terrible. We were probably washing our clothes in filthy water. We were so frustrated that we were considering buying a new top-load washer. Washer Fan solved our problem. Our washer no longer smells and our clothes are clean once again. Great product! I would recommend this product to anyone.
